We protect the homes that define the Lowcountry.

Mount Pleasant Roofers is a roofing studio built around a single idea: the houses in this town deserve roofs designed for them specifically, installed by people who can hold a real conversation about architecture, climate, and craft.

Origin

Started by people who actually live here.

Our team grew up in the Charleston area and we work where we live. Mount Pleasant has changed dramatically over the last fifteen years — new neighborhoods rising, older ones being carefully restored, and a steady stream of waterfront customs going up along the Wando. The roofs on all of those homes were getting less attention than the rest of the architecture deserved.

We built the studio to fix that. Our work centers on the homes that define the town: Old Village's pre-1960 cottages and stately Lowcountry traditionals, I'On's New-Urbanism row, the Wando-side customs of Hobcaw, Brickyard, and Dunes West, and the newer planned communities at Carolina Park and Park West.

A roof is a building's most photographed surface. It is also its most under-discussed one.

How we work

Quiet, written, on time.

Every project begins with an on-site walk and a written assessment. We do not lead with a salesperson. We do not pre- build urgency. We look at the roof, document what we see, explain what we recommend, and let the homeowner sit with the information.

When work is approved, we schedule with a firm start date and we confirm 24 hours ahead. Job sites get tarps for the landscape, magnetic sweeps for nails, and a project lead on site every day. End-of-job walkthroughs happen with the homeowner, and warranty paperwork is filed before we leave.

Our pricing is line-itemed. Our communication is written. Our installers are paid well enough to stay on the crew for years. That stability is the quiet engine behind everything else.

Our team

The crew on your roof is the crew we keep.

Our installers are full-time, year-round, on payroll. We do not rotate crews from inland projects, we do not subcontract a roofing job to whichever crew is closest, and we do not hand off the project to a different team on day two.

The same project lead who walked the roof on day one is on the roof on the day of install. That continuity is unusual in this industry. It is also, in our view, the only honest way to do the work.

Send us a note — we'll come look.

A walk-through, a written assessment, and a quiet conversation about what your roof actually needs. No pressure, no scripted sales sequence.
